Health and Safety
Davco Electrical Services is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, customers and any third parties involved with our work. We recognise that maintaining the highest possible standards of health and safety is a key management responsibility and a measure of our success as an organisation. In fulfilling these aims we recognise the value of employee and customer input to the process and are therefore committed to regular consultation with our staff and clients on Health & Safety issues.
-
We have a detailed and up-to-date Health and Safety policy which is relevant to our industry.
-
We carry out regular Health and Safety meetings to ensure ongoing safety and compliance. These meetings are used to discuss any current concerns and all comment is welcomed and documented.
-
Safety is an important part of all modern contracts. We comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 in all areas including legislation, regulations, codes of practice and safe operating procedures. We pride ourselves on our safety record.
-
All field staff are first aid qualified and hold Constructsafe and/or SiteSafe Passports, relevant to the work they are completing. Specialised staff are trained for confined spaces entry and several members of our team are trained in operating Mobile Elevated Work Platforms and forklifts.
Davco Electrical Services has a strong focus on compliance and Health & Safety requirements - we are dedicated to this and recognise it is an integral part of our operations. We are an approved Auckland Council contractor with a four star assessment rating from Impac Prequal and a SiteWise Green rating from SiteSafe.
